Do you want to talk about A.skate? At A.skate we skateboard and it is hard. I have fun there. Ricochet is going. My tutor is bringing a big skateboard. I skateboard over hills and a lot of kids come. They have big ramps there. It is going to be in San Diego.
Bye guys, see you next time,
Rina's idea on how to use a skateboard!
The A.skate Foundation provides one on one skate lessons for persons with autism in an environment that is appropriate to their sensory needs in order to learn. They provide this service at no cost to the families who participate. They also provide the skateboard gear and safety equipment (helmets, skateboards, and pads) for the participants to use during their skate session. They strive to make the experience as incredibly successful for the participant as possible! They work with children ages 3 to adulthood.
West is one of the boys I surf with. He has autism and apraxia, but rises above it every day. He loves to help others. He's 8 years old and currently in the second grade. He is an amateur Lego builder. He is an expert in all things dinosaur. West loves dogs, especially Ricochet and Rina. He writes a weekly guest blog for Ricochet.
