Last year, YOU helped me raise
$3550 and 639 kids received toys for holidays! This year, I wanted to raise
more, and boy did we ever! Thank you for your generosity and support in creating
smiles & tail wags!
Donations came in from all over the world, including Hong Kong, Canada, the
Bahamas, Switzerland and Antarctica. A 24 foot sleight (ok, it was a
truck) was donated, along with driver, Jerry from
San Diego Van & Storage
to help us deliver all the toys. My good FURiend Rob, fromPawmazing
Photography donated his time and took pictures. Many pet retailers and
businesses also donated toys (see their logos below), and others helped on
delivery day, including my first fundraising beneficiary,
Patrick Ivison.

shout outs, elf Spike, toy presentation, shopping, drop boxes, delivery, "WOW"
factor, chasing down news trucks, and more!
Toys were
purchased for the kids, on Black Friday, and many other great sale days!
Some stores even gave bigger discounts when they heard about the toy drive. And,
an amazing donation came in from my Facebook FURiend, Paul... nine boxes of Star
Wars toys! What a collection, and what fun the kids are going to have.
The kritter toys
included dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs and horses. We didn't know they
had reptiles, so with the extra donations that came in after delivery, I'll be
ordering some reptile supplies! Helen Woodward has many programs, and it's great
to know ALL the animals will have toys because of YOUR donations!
A huge thank you to TiLite
for their toy drive donation of a new wheelchair for my FURiend, Tamandra! You
guys rock! Tamandra's old chair was very dangerous, and she kept falling out of
it. In fact, on delivery day, I had an injured paw, so she brought her old chair
for me to use, and I fell out of it TWICE! Now she's in a safe TiLite chair!
I'm so
appreciative of everyone who helped! From the people who raised awareness, to my
donors, to my Facebook FURiends, to my suppporters to the stores that gave
discounts! Everyone made a difference. The kids and kritters definitely had a
better Christmas, and with this many toys... many more days of smiles & tail
wags!
