Victim Support - (Canine Assisted Reduction of Eventful Stress) is a non-profit 501.c.3 organization. K9 c.a.r.e.s. mission is to help people reduce their stress and start the healing process through the comfort and motivation of a specially trained dog and their victim advocate handler through canine assisted advocacy. K9 c.a.r.e.s. provides services for the Colorado criminal justice system and law enforcement agencies. Additionally, K9 c.a.r.e.s. serves more traditional therapy dog venues such as medical centers, domestic violence safe houses, shelters, local Libraries with the R.E.A.D.Ò Program.
