HELEN WOODWARD ANIMAL CENTER

Surf Dog Surf-a-thon Fundraiser

To benefit orphaned animals!

On September 11, 2011, I'll be surfing in the Helen Woodward Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon to raise funds for orphaned animals.  Last year, YOU helped me raise $3085!! I was the highest doggie fundraiser for the event, and in fact for the last 5 years they've been holding it!

This year, I'd like to raise even more!! Please help me help the animals by making a donation of any size by clicking the donate button below

Mom's birthday wish!
Mom's birthday is August 29th, and she is turning.... ooops, I can't tell you that! I asked her what she wants for her birthday, and she said "I'd love if people donated to your surf dog surf-a-thon fundraiser in honor of my birthday".  She helps me so much with all the work I do, I'd really like to grant her wish.  If you'd like to donate in honor of mom's birthday, click the donate button below.

Thank you so much for your support!! To learn more about Helen Woodward Animal Center, please scroll down.

PREVIOUS SURF-A-THONS

On September 12, 2010, I surfed in the Helen Woodward Animal Center's Surf Dog Surf-a-thon.  This event was held to raise funds and awareness for orphaned animals, while promoting responsible pet ownership. With the help of my donors, I raised $3085!!  I was the highest fundraiser for the event, and in fact the highest fundraiser from all five years they've been having the surf-a-thon! Thank you for your support!!

Thank you for  making a donation! Together, we helped the orphaned animals!  Click here to see everyone who donated!

FLOWER PAW'ER!

I wore a flower lei on the day of the surf contest, with flowers representing the paw'er we have to save lives by helping animals find forever homes!

Each flower represented a donation made to honor adopted pets.

The number of flowers equaled the same number of lives that have been saved!  Thank you for being part of my flower paw'er campaign!!

Home 4 the Holidays
In 1999 Helen Woodward Animal Center organized 14 animal shelters in San Diego County, California for the first, "Home 4 the Holidays" pet adoption drive. Our goals were to encourage families to save lives by adopting their pets and to take business away from puppy mills and backyard breeders while shelter pets died. That holiday season the participating shelters found loving families for 2,563 orphaned pets.

In its first ten years Iams Home 4 the Holidays has united 3,278,267 orphaned pets with their new families!
